I Saw Tree Ships

I saw three ships come sailing by,
  Come sailing by, come sailing by;
I saw three ships come sailing by,
  On New Year's Day in the morning.

And what do you think was in them then,
  Was in them then, was in them then ?
And what do you think was in then,
  On New Year's Day in the morning ?

Three pretty girls were in them then,
  Were in them then, were in them then,
Three pretty girls were in them then,
  On New Year's Day in the morning.

And one could whistle, and one could sing,
  And one could play on the violin..
Such joy there was at my wedding,
  On New Year's Day in the morning.

God Bless The Master Of This House

God bless the master of this house,
   The mistress also,
And all the little children
   That around the table go;
And all your kin and kinsfolk,
   That dwell both far and near;
I wish you a merry Christmas
   And a happy new year.

Parsley, Sage, Rosemary And Thyme

Can you make me a cambric shirt,
  Parsley, sage, rosemary and thyme,
Without any seam or needlework ?
  And you shall be a true love of mine.

Can you wash it in yonder well,
  Parsley, sage, rosemary and thyme,
Where dew never wet nor water fell ?
  And you shall be a true love of mine.

Can yo dry it on yonder thorn,
  Parsley, sage, rosemary and thyme,
Where the sun never shone since Adam was born ?
  And you shall be a true love of mine.

Now you have asked me questions three,
  Parsley, sage, rosemary and thyme,
I hope you will answer as many for me,
  And you shall be a true love of mine.

Can you find me an acre of land,
  Parsley, sage, rosemary and thyme,
Between the salt water and the sea sand ?
  And you shall be a true love of mine.

Can you plough it with a ram's horn,
  Parsley, sage, rosemary and thyme,
And sow it all over with peppercorn ?
  And you shall be a true love of mine,

Can you reap it with a sickle of leather,
  Parsley, sage, rosemary and thyme,
And bind it up with a peacock's feather ?
  And you shall be a true love of mine.

And when you are done and finished your work,
  Parsley, sage, rosemary and thyme,
Then come to me to get your shirt,
  And you shall be a true love of mine.

The North Wind Doth Blow

         The North wind doth blow.
         And we shall have snow,
And what will poor robin do then, poor thing ?

         He'll sit in a barn,
         And keep himself warm,
And hide his head under his wing, poor thing.

Peter Piper

Peter Piper pick'd a peck of pickled pepper;
A peck of pickled pepper Peter Piper picked;
If Peter Piper pick'd a peck of pickled pepper,
Where's the peck of pickled pepper Peter Piper
       picked?
